This Life- Kasinda’s debut EP co-produced with George Kuntu Blankson (SlimDrumz), platforms themes of freedom, justice and cultural connection, showcasing our shared humanity and experiences across seas and continents. The music was inspired through Kasinda’s three journeys to Ghana and Nigeria throughout 2024 and 2025 where she sought to explore her own Nigerian heritage and contemplated the themes which bind people despite their differences. Recorded across Accra (Ghana) and Melbourne (Naarm, Australia), the recording features many talented musicians across Afrobeat, reggae, dub and jazz genres including Immy Owusu, Ben Mckone (London), members from Surprise Chef, Ansong Jnr (GH) and more. This Life serves as a reminder that we as a collective create the world we live and are not merely observers.
